Information we collect
We may collect contact details, shipping details, order contents, correspondence and transaction information needed to process a purchase. Our site may also receive basic technical information such as browser type, device information, IP address, page visits, product interactions and access logs. Your shopping bag is stored locally in your browser so it can remain available between visits.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Matchmate does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Stripe may process payment, fraud-prevention and transaction information under its own privacy terms.

How information is shared
We share information only as reasonably necessary with service providers that help operate the store, including payment, hosting, fraud prevention, shipping and professional advisers, or when required by law. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Site analytics
We use PostHog to understand anonymous site usage and the shopping journey, such as page visits, product views, cart activity, checkout starts and completed orders. We do not send PostHog the name, email, shipping address or payment-card details entered during checkout, and session recording is disabled. You can opt out of site analytics on this browser.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for orders, customer service, accounting, fraud prevention and legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may request access, correction or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. Email info@matchmatepets.com. You may clear locally stored cart information through your browser settings.
Children
The store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
